At Start Training we offer a range of training and assessment services for people needing to obtain a Licence to Perform High Risk Work for a Forklift (LF Class). Within Australia this licence is required for anyone needing to operate a forklift without the supervision of a licensed operator.

2 Day Beginners Forklift Course

Course Description:

This course is aimed at beginners or experienced operators who are unable to verify their previous forklift driving experience.

Course for Current / Experienced Operators

Course Description:

This course is designed for participants who are currently working as a forklift operator under supervision and need to obtain a licence to comply with regulations. It can also be customised for businesses and conducted at your premises.

Course Description:

Your employees are required to hold a current Licence to Perform High Risk Work (LF) if they are operating a forklift without the supervision of a licensed operator. We can make the licensing process easier for you by conducting the training and assessment at your premises, using your own equipment.

Verification of Competency


Course Description:

For new employees or those that may have obtained a licence some time ago, but are not confident in their skills; our Refresher Training or Verification of
Competency course is a great way to ensure that your workers can safely operate a forklift.
Course fees:
$150 per person + GST (onsite)
$200 per person + GST at our training centre                  
This course is usually conducted at your premises using your equipment although it can be done at any of our training centres.
