EARTH MOVING TRAINING MELBOURNE COURSE STRUCTURE
Our Earth Moving Training Melbourne courses include both practical and theory training. The structure of the course and our small class sizes ensure that students receive maximum time operating the equipment on our simulated worksite. Most units overlap in content so doing a number of units in the one course saves time and money. Course dates are flexible and students can design a course to suit their needs from the dates available.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
We conduct all Earth Moving Training at our Earthworks facility located at 7-9 Hayward Road, Ferntree Gully Road, VIC 3156.
We have multiple types of plant available for training our students including excavators, backhoes, rollers, skid steer and front end loaders. We also have various accessories including augers, buckets including quick hitch and trailers to practice loading and unloading. We have a variety of machine brands including Wacker Neuson, JCB and John Deere ensuring that you get maximum exposure to various machines and equipment as possible.
There are a number of shops and takeaways within a short distance of our Ferntree Gully facility including bakeries located at the Mountain Gate shopping centre, Red Rooster, On It Burgers, McDonalds, Subway and KFC. If you are unsure about their locations one of our friendly staff can direct you. McDonalds is the closest food outlet just 1-2 minutes walk from our premise. We also offer free tea, coffee and biscuits for all our students.
Generally our classes begin at 8.00am each day Monday through to Saturday. Some of our classes begin slightly earlier at 7.30am, you will be informed of your class start time via a booking confirmation and a confirmation SMS sent to you a few days prior to your class.
Yes, we offer ample breaks throughout the day. An initial break is provided at 9.45am at which time a food van visits our Ferntree Gully location. Lunch and other shorter regular breaks are provided throughout the day.
We provide all safety equipment necessary for your course including hi-vis vest and hard-hats where applicable. All you need to bring is a sturdy pair of shoes (no thongs please) and adequate clothing. Please note that during winter months the temperatures can be low, please come with sufficient warm clothing on cold weather days.
