1. Eligibility

• Entry is open to residents of Victoria, Australia, aged 18 years and over.
• Entrants must maintain an active paid Start Training PLUS subscription at the time of each draw.
• Employees, contractors, and immediate family members of the Promoter are not eligible to enter or win.
• The Promotion is conducted in accordance with the Gambling Regulation Act 2003 (Vic) as a Trade Promotion Lottery. No permit is required.

2. How to Enter

• Individuals must hold an active Start Training PLUS subscription via www.starttraining.com.au at a cost of $19.99 per month.
• Each month of continuous active membership earns one (1) automatic entry into that month’s prize draw.
• Entries accumulate monthly for the duration of an active subscription (e.g., 6 months = 6 entries).
• If a payment fails or a subscription is cancelled prior to a draw date, no entry will be awarded for that month.
• No separate purchase or payment is required beyond the ongoing subscription fee.

3. Promotion Period & Draws

• A new draw is conducted each calendar month.
• Each monthly draw opens on the first day of the month and closes at 11:59 PM AEST on the last day of the month.
• Draws are held within seven (7) days after the closing date using a computer-based random draw system that is securely logged and auditable.
• All eligible entries received during the relevant period will be included in that draw.

4. Prizes

• The major prize for each monthly draw will vary and may include tools, training equipment, or other physical goods chosen by the Promoter.
• There will also be two (2) runner-up prizes, each consisting of credit toward future accredited or non-accredited training with Start Training.
• The total retail value of each prize pool will vary depending on the major prize selected.
• Prizes are not transferable, exchangeable, or redeemable for cash.

5. Winner Notification & Publication

• Winners will be selected at random in accordance with clause 3.
• The Promoter will notify each winner by phone and email within three (3) business days of the draw.
• The names (first name and suburb) of winners will be published on www.starttraining.com.au within seven (7) days of the draw.
• If a winner cannot be contacted or fails to claim a prize within 30 days of notification, the Promoter may conduct a redraw for that unclaimed prize using the same method.

6. Verification

• The Promoter may request proof of identity, age, and active subscription status prior to awarding any prize.
• If verification is not provided within a reasonable timeframe, the winner may forfeit their prize and the Promoter may conduct a redraw.

7. General Conditions

• The Promoter reserves the right to:
  • Substitute any prize with an item of equal or greater value if necessary;
  • Disqualify any entrant who tampers with the entry process or violates these Terms;
  • Cancel, modify, or suspend a draw in the event of fraud, technical failure, or causes beyond its control.
• The Promoter’s decision in all matters relating to this Promotion is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
• Participation in the Promotion constitutes acceptance of these Terms.

8. Liability

Except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law, the Promoter (including its officers, employees, and agents) excludes all liability (including negligence) for any loss or damage arising in any way from participation in this Promotion or acceptance of any prize. The Promoter is not responsible for any tax implications that may arise from prize winnings.

9. Privacy

Personal information collected from entrants is used solely for the purpose of conducting this Promotion, contacting winners, and fulfilling prizes. Data will be handled in accordance with the Start Training Privacy Policy available on www.starttraining.com.au. Entrant details will not be sold or shared with third parties except where required by law or as necessary for prize delivery.

10. Governing Law

This Promotion and these Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Victoria, Australia. All entrants submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria.
