This course is specifically intended for workers who are:

• Employed directly by utility providers (water, gas, electricity, communications)

• Contractors working on behalf of utility companies

• Field-based workers performing maintenance or installation near roadways

• Teams conducting essential infrastructure works

Participants must be able to demonstrate they are working within the utilities sector, typically via employer confirmation.

Important: What This Course Does NOT Cover

This course is restricted to utilities work only and does not qualify you to:

• Work as a Traffic Controller

• Use stop/slow bats

• Implement Traffic Management Plans

• Perform traffic management outside utilities-related works

If your role involves those duties, you will need a TC1/TMI1 qualification instead.

Course Outcome
